Over the years to date, the Department of of Industrial Art of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science And Technology (KNUST) have been doing well when it comes to exhibition and other art related activities. Ceramic section is not an exception, Professor Samuel Nortey and other Lecturers of the Ceramic section Organized a massive exhibition caption "Only Women". It is believe that,hard working Ladies from the Ceramic Section are featuring in this exhibition,as platform is given to them for their voice to be heard. The exhibition opened with an Art Talk with Rebekah Bogard(University of Nevada Reno) at 10am at the studio hall Ceramic Section. KNUST unveils beautiful gold-plated statue of Otumfuo

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has unveiled a statue of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. The statue, gold-plated shows the Asantehene who is also the Chancellor of the school, in a traditional Kente cloth, with what appears to be royal jewelry on his arms and wrists. The statue also captures Otumfuo with a head ornament. The statue which captures Otumfuo’s facial details in an exceptional way could be described as an exact duplicate of his image.
