You are a villager' - Shatta Wale's reaction to Meek Mill video brouhaha

Dancehall Artist, ‘You are a villager’ – Shatta Wale tells those condemning Meek Mill’s video shoot at Jubilee House. Dancehall Artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale appears to be in support of the controversial video shoot at the Jubilee House by American rapper, Meek Mill. He said anyone who is against the shooting of the video at the Jubilee House is a “villager.” A teaser of Meek Mill’s music video on Twitter shows some parts of the Jubilee House including the podium of President Akufo-Addo featured in the video. The content of the video has since generated conversations on Twitter with many Ghanaians condemning t They believe the act by the American rapper has made the Jubilee House now unsecured instead of it being the highest security zone in the country.

VAR: Ghanaian Law Professor tells FIFA that unregulated discretion kills competition

Dean of the Law School at the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA), Professor Ernest Kofi Abotsi has told the world football governing body, FIFA that transparency requires that FIFA publishes and republishes the full circumstances under which a referee is compelled to consult the Video Assistant Referee’ (VAR). Black Sherif crowned Artiste of the Year at the 2023 VGMA

The 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year is rap sensation Black Sherif. He beat stiff competition from seven others namely Piesie Esther, Sarkodie, Joe Mettle, Stonebwoy, Camidoh, KiDi and King Promise to win the award. This is the ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ hitmaker’s first VGMA Artiste of the Year win. An excited Black Sherif, following his win, walked to the stage singing Sad Boys Don’t Fold – the song he opened his performance with. Black Sherif also took home awards for the Best Music Video Award, Most Popular Song of the Year and Best Hip-hop Song of the Year with Kwaku The Traveller.
