< /div> < /div>  During the outbreak of covid-19, the Traditional people of Mepe in the Volta Region (North Tognu) has stopped celebrating their Annual Festival in line with the measures put in place to curb the spread of the deadly virus, since then until recently, where banned has been lifted on general gatherings of various culture diaspora announced by His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo, it is cheerful to bounce back to the same old way of the celebration, the Apenorto Festival commencing with the mini durbar and rise to climax at late July to late August, and having the first Saturday in August as the grand durbar .
